Huntington Harbour
33º 43.790'N, 118º 04.990'W
Huntington Beach, California USA

Huntington Harbour Homes and Condominiums are part of a master-planned waterfront community called Huntington Harbour.  The community contains waterfront restaurants and shopping as well as condominiums and estates. Many of the Huntington Harbour homes include privately held boat slips. The area's official title is Sunset/Huntington Harbour and it includes Sunset Marina Park as well as two public marinas. Most of the harbour consists of privately held slips adjacent to residences, with a total of about 3,000 boats in the harbour. Entrance is through Anaheim Bay and between the Naval Weapons Station and Huntington Harbour and under the PCH bridge. Boats pass through the Anaheim Bay National Wildlife Refuge. This is home to numerous types of marine life and birds that thrive in the natural habitat that has existed for years. The area is said to be one of the most important and beautiful natural wildlife areas along the Pacific Coast. Some of the finest Huntington Beach properties are located in the Huntington Harbour area. This is Huntington Beach Real Estate and Southern California living at its finest.

Huntington Harbour has five man-made islands: Admiralty, Gilbert, Trinidad, Humboldt, and Davenport. Two of the islands are accessible off of Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach: Admiralty and Gilbert. These two islands are across Pacific Coast Highway near Sunset Beach. Davenport Island is nearest Warner Avenue and Algonquin.  It features two bays: Weatherly and Christiana. Humboldt Island can be accessed from Edinger Avenue and Saybrook.  It contains a popular beach called "Mother's Beach." Trinidad Island is located by heading toward the Harbour off of Edinger, and turn left into Trinidad.

Each island has it's own unique flavor. Admiralty Island and Gilbert Island do not have as many families with young children. Trinidad island with it's parks and abundance of children is always popular with the kids.
